Fly Aboard A Balloon During The Winthrop Balloon Festival

Passenger meeting/check-in starts at 6:30 am at the Balloon Corral.

Passengers enjoy close to 1 hour aloft, drifting down the Methow Valley, a post flight celebration and transportation back to the Balloon Corral.

1. Winthrop Balloon Round-up Balloon Flight Ticket           $375 per passenger
   Shared flight for passengers from the same or different group
2. Winthrop Balloon Round-up Private Balloon Flight For Up To 4    SOLD OUT
   Private Balloon Ride for up to 4. Maximum Group weight not to exceed 800 lbs. Flight details are the same as our Shared Rides, just exclusive to you.

The Winthrop Balloon Roundup Corral is located just behind the Winthrop Inn

960 State Route 20, Winthrop, WA 98862 

• Parking is very limited.
• Entrance to the balloon corral is free of charge.
• Balloon Ride Operators charge for Balloon Rides only.

Balloon Ride Passengers meet for check-in starting at 6:30 am all 3 days

* Please note, all Hot Air Balloon operation is subject to suitable weather conditions. For safety reason, balloon operations are subject to last minute cancellation without notice. 

• Ballooning is very weather dependent meaning we only fly when the conditions are perfect for flight. If Mother Nature doesn't allow it and we are forced to delay or cancel your flight it is only with your safety and enjoyment in mind. 
• In a nutshell flights are subject to cancelation at the last minute if conditions are not suitable.
• Balloonists are looking for weather conditions giving them clear skies with good visibility, no precipitation in the surrounding area and light predictable winds. Sometimes it feels and looks perfect on the ground but wind layers above are too fast, going the wrong direction or are unstable to fly. It's just part of the magic of ballooning.
• The Cascades provides for weather that can change suddenly and at the last minute. If you live more than an hour's drive from Winthrop, please understand we might not be able to predict the flight conditions far enough in advance of your drive to Winthrop 
• Please read hot air balloon Ride Special Cancelation policy when booking your ride for this event.
• Rides aboard the balloons are not wheelchair accessible. 
• Rides aboard the balloons are not recommended for pregnant women. 
• If your your balloon flight is canceled due to weather, you’ll be offered a different date for rebooking at our Snohomish location.
